🦮 Large · Switzerland
A medium-to-large Swiss herding dog with a white, medium-length coat and a sensitive, attentive temperament, closely bonded to its family and reliant on consistent, loving leadership.

Sensitive, attentive, and strongly bonded to its family. Can become insecure or fearful if under-socialized or under-stimulated.
High need for exercise and occupation. Mental work such as scent work or dog sports is recommended in addition to physical exercise.
Medium-length coat that sheds twice yearly, with increased brushing needed during that time; otherwise comparatively low-maintenance.
Better suited to owners with dog experience. Its sensitive nature needs consistent yet calm training along with early, broad socialization.
Hip dysplasia (HD) and elbow dysplasia (ED) occur. Controlled growth in puppyhood through appropriate feeding is important, and the breed is also considered sensitive to stress.
