🐾 Small · England
A compact, muscular miniature version of the Bull Terrier with the characteristic egg-shaped head, headstrong, playful, and highly driven.

The Miniature Bull Terrier is bold, playful with its family, and thoroughly headstrong. It can be confrontational toward other dogs and needs broad, early socialization.
It demands daily physical and mental exercise; when understimulated it quickly turns destructive. Its prey drive is pronounced, and small animals are off-limits.
The short coat is easy to maintain; more important is consistent, structured training from puppyhood on.
Not really suited to beginners, since its stubbornness, potential dog-on-dog friction, and strong will call for experienced, consistent handling.
The breed can suffer from hereditary deafness, patellar luxation, and hereditary nephropathy (kidney disease), which makes health testing at the breeder important.
