🐾 Small · Russia
A small Russian lapdog with a curly coat, a friendly, affectionate temperament, and moderate exercise needs, well suited to apartment living.

The Bolonka Zwetna is outgoing, playful, and rarely aggressive, forming a close bond with its owners. It is usually friendly rather than wary toward strangers.
Daily walks of moderate length along with brief play and enrichment sessions are enough for this breed. It adapts well to quieter households but is not a purely lap-bound dog without any exercise needs.
The long, curly coat must be brushed thoroughly several times a week to prevent matting, especially behind the ears and in the armpits. An occasional trim makes upkeep easier.
Its balanced, forgiving temperament and low sharpness make the Bolonka Zwetna well suited to first-time owners. The regular grooming effort should still be factored in.
The breed is considered comparatively robust; patellar luxation and dental misalignment from the short muzzle occur occasionally. Regular dental and knee checks at the vet are advisable.
