What this is about
Souldog is for people with dogs. Everyone should feel welcome here, people and dogs alike. These rules apply to everything you share in the app or on souldog.app: posts, comments, photos, chat messages, profiles and dog profiles, reviews, place photos and place suggestions, dog walks, sitter profiles and recipes. They add to our Terms and Conditions.
Zero tolerance for child abuse
Content that sexualises, endangers or exploits minors is strictly forbidden. This includes grooming, meaning contacting minors in order to abuse them. We remove such content immediately, ban the account permanently and report the case to the authorities. Please send reports to souldog.alice@gmail.com or go to the police directly.
What is not allowed
- Nudity and sexual content. No nude images, no sexual content, no sexual requests.
- Violence and threats. Do not show, glorify or threaten violence against people or animals.
- Harassment and hate. No bullying, no insults, no hate against people because of origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
- Animal cruelty. No content that shows, approves of or teaches animal cruelty. No dog fights and no promotion of harmful breeding.
- Selling animals. No selling of dogs or other animals and no paid puppy placement. Shelters may present their animals for adoption in the shelter section.
- Dangerous content. No instructions that harm people or animals. No weapons, no drugs, no poison baits.
- False health claims. Share experiences, but do not promise cures. Tips from the community do not replace a vet.
- Spam and fraud. No mass messages, no advertising without our permission, no fake profiles, no chain letters, no scams.
- Other people's data. No addresses, phone numbers or photos of other people without their permission.
- Anything illegal. Content that breaks the law is not allowed.
Young users
You can use Souldog from the age of 14. Under 18, some limits apply, for example for direct messages, Sniffing, dog walks and pet sitting (see Terms §3a). Never share your address or other private details with strangers. If someone pressures you: block, report and talk to an adult you trust.
Report and block
You can report posts, comments, photos, chat messages, profiles, reviews and dog walks directly in the app. Tap the three dots or "Report". You can block people from their profile or in the chat. Blocked people can no longer message you, and you no longer see their content. You manage blocked people in the settings.
In an emergency, call the police right away (112 or 110 in Germany).
What we do
- We review every report.
- Content that is reported several times is hidden automatically until we have reviewed it.
- Depending on the violation, we remove content, warn, or suspend an account temporarily or permanently.
- For child abuse and other crimes, we ban immediately and inform the authorities.
